Happy Valentines day!

Heart shaped strawberry rice crispy treat

we made a double batch of Strawberry marshmallow heart shaped crispy treats. 

Strawberry marshmallow crispy treats

1 bag of strawberry flavored marshmallows

6 cups of rice cereal

3 tbs. of butter

Melt butter in the microwave for 45 seconds. Then add the marshmallows and stir them until the butter is all over them. Put the bowl with the marshmallows back into the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Next add the cereal and stir it all up. Form into heart shapes using your hands. Place on a plate.

We made paper heart flowers with candy centers 

for Nick and Noah, Aven and  Delaney.

We went to Tader Joe's today to get a few groceries. Every time we visit this store I am amazed at how much more I like it than say Shaws or Stop and shop. The cashiers actually speak to you in a friendly manner. Its so great.  I almost never go to the other grocery stores any more.

Slow morning

Today is one of those days that I can't seem to get motivated to do anything. 

I set up to do some art work but thats as far as I got on that. 

We did finish off the cookies we made. Does that count as an accomplishment? :)
