I am a stay at home mom/artist. I live in the Boston Massachusetts area. I like to bake in the winter and make fruit salad in the summer. I have a side kick. Her name is Emily Sophia Preston. When you ask her name she will tell it to you proudly. This blog is a recording of our life together, and the art I get done while living it.
Sometimes you find a shop thats just makes your heart overflow with want. That happened to me once again tonight when I wandered through apatico.etsy.com.
Her clothing looks literally like clothing I have dreamt about. One of those dreams where every item is amazing and perfectly you. Apatico is a dream come true.

Some days I want to look through etsy items all day. When I find some
thing(s) that I absolutely love I share them here. Yesterday I found these.
O.k. its getting to be that time of year when all I want is a candy apple. I bought some of these awhile ago for Farther's day for my daughter to give to her dad. We cut up 1 a night to share amongst the 3 of us. They were as good as they look. Better actually.
Don't take my word for it though. Try one or two yourself.
Sigh.... I have a case of artist block. I have had it for a few days and its making me crazy.
I feel something cooking in my imagination but its not ready to be born. The labor pain for this one has been long and a little stressful. I have an itch to paint with acrylics again too. I think I am going to have to scratch the itch to get rid of the artist block. I keep putting it off because painting means making a mess in the living room and having to clean up after I paint. Oh how I long for studio space! Somewhere I can make a mess and not have to clean up after finishing for the day.
